Sorry TO its not you, its me

More specifically its them. When you signed here did you ever think things could be this bad? No? Neither did I.

And now you're stuck. Stuck in a classic Catch-22 or lets call it a Catch-81. You will literally be damned if you do and right now you're damned if you don't. The thing about you TO is that you've always told it like it is, and right now its bad it needs to be told. They've paired you up with a QB with shattered psyche that has taken on the personality of his emotionless head coach. A blow-up on the sideline is exactly what this team needs--but I know its the last thing you want the media focusing on. I get it and I agree with you.

Maybe they still trade you to a contender this year. You deserve better than this.

Cracks in the Foundation

We all know "Crack is Whack" But a crack in the foundation is exactly what I am seeing with TO and the Bills. Two weeks in a row he sits by himself on the bench and says nothing. That's somewhat understandable, but most troubling is that he hasn't really gone in the huddle the last two weeks. Unless he has a green dot speaker helmet or an illegal whisper 2000 in there, there is no real way he could know what's going on for the next play.

Is this beyond repair? No.

But is it heading there? Yes and quickly.

Stay tuned Bills Fans this is going to get interesting.

T.O.day started well, ended like opening weekends usually do.

TOday started well. Some TO's for breakfast

followed up with a Pepsi Max and some Metallica and optimism was running high for tonight.

Then the last 2 minutes happened. We don't need to go into any detail on that.

I heard TO left the locker room "frustrated and not wanting to talk". I can't say I blame him. Right now I would also consider my mindset "frustrated and not wanting to talk".

But TO, don't worry its not you. This happens to this city on opening weekend more often than you might think:

Opening Weekend 2002

31-37 loss to the Jets in overtime on the opening kickoff of OT

Opening Weekend 2004
10-13 loss to the Jaguars on a last second pass play

Opening Weekend 2006
17-19 loss to the Patriots after we also led all day

Opening Weekend 2007
14-15 loss to the Broncos on a last second field goal

Yeah, I know it stinks, but we are in this together and after tonight you're now officially one of us. Welcome to Buffalo.

August 9th Pro Football Hall of Fame -- Canton, OH

We were there.

We had our popcorn ready

and we were there for TOs first catch as a Buffalo Bill. And I got a sweet picture of it.

and I could see TO's $137k diamond earrings shining so brightly in the lights of Fawcett Stadium. More power to him. If I was an NFL mega-star you wouldn't believe the size of the diamond earrings I'd be wearing.

If you like football and you've never been to the Pro Football Hall of Fame--stop what you are doing and plan a trip to go there now. Regardless if a Buffalo Bill goes in next year--I'm thinking from this season on I'm going to kick each NFL season off right with a trip to Canton for Enshrinement Weekend.

Where else do you get to see this--this close?

Nowhere. And when this is all said and done maybe TO asks me to be his presenter.

TO. I'm in.

July 30, 2009: TO and I spend some quality time at Training Camp

St. John Fisher College

Me, my daughter Griffin and 4,000+ of our closest friends turn out for a Thursday night practice for the Bills. I see TO. He does not see me, but plays very well.

Next stop Canton. Not for TO (yet) but for the induction of Bruce & Ralph PLUS TO's first game in a Bills uni. Stay tuned, lots of pictures to come after this Hall of Fame weekend.

When it all began

It all started on Friday March 6th. TO was released by the Cowboys the day before and nothing in the world made more sense to me than the Bills signing TO. I was clearly in the minorty at the point. Half the people in the world said he shouldn't come to Buffalo, the other half said he wouldn't ever come to Buffalo--but not me I bill-ieved and I have the Facebook post to prove it:

Early the next morning things really heated up. Coach Sal C. from the Buffalo Range message boards and the website http://salsports.com/ started to hear rumblings that the Bills were very interested. I was right there with him spreading the news:

Mike Sullivan says Sal knows!. Bill-ieve it! http://www.salsports.com/BillsTerrellOwens.htm

I was 100% hopeful but not 100% sure it would happen. Then coming home from the seeing The Watchman, at the corner of Milestrip and N. Buffalo Road I heard on the radio the it was official and the presser was on its way. The rest is history...
